General Tour Information
INCLUSIONS:
All kayaking equipment, cooking gear and food is supplied. Bed & Breakfast/Hotel accommodation is provided where indicated. We use both single and double kayaks depending upon the difficulty of the trip and the experience of the participants. We always bring at least one double as a "safety buffer" (e.g.,in case someone gets sick, tired, nervous, etc) and if no one wants/needs to be in the double then we all take turns.
We pride ourselves on our meals and specialize in seafood (e.g, lobster, scallops, fresh fish, smoked salmon, etc.). We can usually cater to specific dietary requirements (e.g, vegetarians, lactose intolerance, etc) and ask that participants let us know well in advance of any food sensitivities or perferences of which we should be aware. Participants are expected to help in camp chores.

EXCLUSIONS:
Participants provide tents, sleeping bags and pads, and personal items. A detailed checklist will be provided upon registration. Camping gear may be rented.
Tents: $90/trip
Sleeping pads: $25/trip
Sleeping bags: $40/trip

PREREQUISITES:
Most tours are designed with novices in mind and some inexperienced paddlers can be accommodated on any of the trips. All we ask is good health and fitness, and a keen interest to explore our region.

LIABILITY:
Emphasis will be placed on safety. However, coastal paddling is a physical activity and involves some risk. Clients participate at their own risk and will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to departure.

RESERVATIONS:
A 30% deposit confirms a reservation upon which we will send a clothing/equipment checklist as well as directions to the departure. Balance is due 60 days before departure. Inquire about our early booking discount.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
A refund (excepting $100 service charge) will be extended until 60 days prior to departure after which a refund is available only if you can fill the vacancy. Please be aware that we can not refund any payment within the 60 day period even if it is due to travel difficulties, a sudden medical problem, or a family emergency. Trip cancellation, evacuation and medical insurance is recommended and it is your responsibility to arrange such insurance. Should we have to cancel a tour (e.g., insufficient participants) there will be a complete refund.
